I enjoy helping each golfer enjoy their golf journey. I am a student of the game and I keep informed on the latest technology in clubs, balls and teaching equipment. This enables me to better fit my students to their equipment. I physically screen each student on how they move using Bio Swing Dynamics screens. I listen to each student’s wants and needs. I have many different teaching methods that I use to explain what each student needs in a manner that is easily understood to them, no matter their golfing experience. I have a V1 Branded Academy for video analysis and drills for each lesson. I incorporate proper club fitting and the importance of having clubs that are all matched to each individual.
One of my biggest accomplishments is taking a student that is ready to quit the game and helping them renew their love of the game of golf. I feel blessed to be able to teach this game. It has been a part of my life since I could walk. I am always looking for new ways to teach the game and assist my students.
Yet my greatest joy is in assisting my students in reaching their golfing goals. I love working with all levels of golfers from beginners to tour players, helping them to learn something new every time. I get more enjoyment out of seeing my students getting a shot up in the air for the first time or shooting their personal best round than I ever got from my own game. I just love the game and helping others to love their golf game!
Reid West has created a wonderful teaching and learning enviroment and being able to help people enjoy the game of golf is their focus. Being part of a team that is focussed on each and every golfer enjoying the many things golf brings is exciting and rewarding.
