Chris Mitchell, PGA
Chris has been teaching and coaching golf for over 35 years. As a former Director of Golf at Sherwood Country Club, and Portland Golf Club, he brings a vast knowledge of the golf swing, and years of success instructing men, women, and juniors.
He graduated from the University of Houston, and was a team member on a national championship team. Chris has also played on four tours, Australian, Asian, Canadian, and PGA, with the highlight of his professional career, playing in the 1989 PGA Championship.
His teaching philosophy is to help each student learn the proper fundamentals of the golf swing, play from a position of strength, and most importantly improve your score with course management skills. The use of video analysis is an integral part of his instruction, which diagnoses areas for improvement.
Chris teaches year round full time at Bear Creek Golf Complex.
